Terms of use

Short and clear: what Remondihinnad.ee does, what we expect from users and where our responsibility ends.

Effective from 22 October 2026

1. The service and acceptance

Remondihinnad.ee is a website where a vehicle owner (“customer”) can send a repair request and matching workshops can reply to it. The service is provided by RandKaar Solutions OÜ (“we”). By sending a request or registering as a workshop you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

The service may be used by persons aged 18 or over, or by a minor with the consent of their legal representative.

2. Our role

We are an intermediary. Any repair or maintenance contract is made directly between the customer and the workshop, and we are not a party to it. The workshop is responsible for performing that contract and for the quality, price, deadlines and warranty of its work.

All workshops are businesses registered in Estonia. If the customer is a consumer, the statutory provisions protecting consumers apply to the contract between the customer and the workshop (including the requirements of the Law of Obligations Act for contracts for work). The customer makes any claims about the work against the workshop.

The price in a workshop's reply is an estimate, and the price, time and other information are provided by the workshop. We do not check the content of replies. The final terms are agreed between the customer and the workshop.

3. How a request reaches workshops and how replies are ranked

A request is sent automatically to all approved workshops that meet every one of these conditions: they repair the selected vehicle type and make, offer all the selected services and are located within the radius chosen by the customer.

Workshops and their replies are listed by distance, nearest first. The order cannot be bought or otherwise influenced. A workshop's average rating is shown next to its reply but does not affect the order.

An open request closes automatically after 30 days; a week before, we email the customer, who can extend it from that email. If the email address associated with a request is not confirmed, the request closes after 7 days.

4. Ratings

Only a customer who chose that workshop's quote through Remondihinnad.ee can rate a workshop. This is how we make sure a rating comes from a customer who actually used the service. A rating consists of 1–5 stars and an optional comment. The average rating is the arithmetic mean of all current ratings.

We do not edit ratings or pay for them. We remove a rating if it is unlawful, offensive, not about the workshop's service, contains other people's personal data or otherwise breaks these terms. If a customer withdraws their choice, their rating is deleted too.

5. Customer obligations

Only send a request when you genuinely need the work, and only for a vehicle you own or are authorised by its owner to deal with. Give truthful information. Use the registration number search only to prepare a request for a vehicle you own or are authorised by its owner to deal with. Check the details received from the traffic register before sending. Only add photos you are entitled to use, and do not include other people’s personal data in them (e.g. faces). Keep your password to yourself.

6. Workshop obligations

To join as a workshop you must be a business registered in Estonia and represent that business. We check the registry code in the Business Register and approve the workshop before it receives requests. We may refuse approval if the details are not reliable. Keep your details correct and up to date.

Reply to requests honestly and accurately. The estimated price must include all taxes (including VAT if the workshop is VAT-registered) and be realistic; if the final price may differ significantly, tell the customer why before starting the work. Follow the law in your repair work, including consumer protection rules. Do not give the impression that you are an authorised dealer of a vehicle make unless you are.

Customer details may only be used to communicate about that request and to carry out the work. They must not be passed to third parties or used for advertising. You are the controller of the personal data you receive.

The workshop is responsible for its own work and for what it promises customers. If a customer or a third party brings a claim against us because of a workshop's work or content provided by the workshop, the workshop will compensate us for the resulting costs, unless the damage was caused by our fault.

7. Workshop data and access

In its portal a workshop sees the requests sent to it, its own replies and its own average rating. A workshop sees the customer’s email and phone once the customer chooses its quote. We do not give a workshop’s data to other workshops. We may use anonymised aggregate data (e.g. the number of requests in an area) to develop the service. When the account is closed we delete the workshop’s data and replies, and there is no access to them afterwards; before closure the workshop may ask for a copy of its data.

8. Prohibited use

You must not: send fake requests or requests to research competitors’ prices; impersonate anyone; post unlawful, offensive or misleading content; send spam; use the registration number search for any purpose other than preparing a request (e.g. to collect data on other people’s vehicles); copy the site automatically (bots, scrapers); or disrupt the service or bypass its security.

9. Content and rights

The site’s design, text, code and database belong to the service operator and must not be copied without permission. Content you send (a request, photos, a reply or a rating) remains yours, but you grant us a free, non-exclusive licence to use it to provide the service: to show a request to matching workshops and a reply and rating to the customer. The licence ends when the content is deleted.

10. Trade marks

Vehicle make names are trade marks of their owners. We use them only so that customers can indicate their vehicle’s make. Neither Remondihinnad.ee nor the workshops found through it are affiliated with or endorsed by any vehicle maker, unless a workshop states this separately.

11. Reporting illegal content and point of contact

If you see content on the site that is illegal or breaks these terms, write to us at the email address below. Say where the content is and why you think it breaks the rules. We will review the report within a reasonable time and let you know our decision. The same address is the point of contact for users and authorities; we communicate in Estonian and English. Content is moderated by people; the only automated measures are limits on how often requests can be sent and a check that the sender is not a robot.

12. Suspension, removal of content and closing an account

We may remove content and suspend or close an account if a user breaks these terms or the law, or if an authority requires it. We will tell you the decision and the reason by email, unless the law prohibits this. You can dispute the decision by writing to us; we will review it and reply.

If we decide to close a workshop’s account, we will give at least 30 days’ notice. We may close or suspend it immediately if the workshop repeatedly breaks these terms, if the law requires it or if this is needed to protect customers from fraud.

A customer can delete their account together with their requests at any time in the account settings. A workshop can ask us to close its account at any time by writing to us.

13. Fees

The service is currently free for both customers and workshops. If paid features are added in future, we will announce prices to workshops at least 15 days in advance and they will apply only with the workshop’s agreement.

14. Availability of the service

We try to keep the site working but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, faults or outages of third-party services. We may develop the service and change its features.

The service is free and provided as is. We do not guarantee that any workshop will reply to a request, that quotes will meet the customer's expectations or that the customer will be satisfied with the service or the choice of workshop. If the service does not suit you, you can stop using it and delete your account at any time; dissatisfaction with the service does not give a right to compensation.

15. Liability

We are liable for breaching our obligations to the extent provided by law. We are not liable for a workshop’s work, for information provided by a workshop or for the performance of the contract between the customer and the workshop.

We are not liable to workshops for indirect loss or lost profit, and our liability per incident is limited to 100 euros because the service is free.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or for death or personal injury, or the statutory rights of a consumer.

16. Changes

We may change these terms, for example when the law or the service changes. New terms will be published on this page with the date they take effect. Workshops will be notified of changes by email at least 15 days in advance and may close their account during that time. Registered customers will be notified of significant changes by email in advance. If you do not accept the changes, you can delete your account at any time.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Estonian law. For a consumer, this does not limit the mandatory consumer protection rules of their country of residence.

We aim to resolve disputes by negotiation; write to us at the address below. A consumer may also turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee at the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (www.ttja.ee) and to the courts in accordance with the law. Disputes with workshops are settled by Tartu County Court.

If any term proves invalid, the remaining terms stay in force. If language versions differ, the Estonian version prevails.
